Youth Step was the
brainchild of James "Brock" Harris III who has a long history of
promoting college stepshows in the tri-state area under
Brockstar Entertainment. It is a subsiduary of Brockstar
Entertainment that was formed to give middle and high school
students a way to participate in the sport of "Stepping".
Emphasis is placed
on achieving one's goals through good sportsmanship, hard work
and healthy competition plus using "Stepping" to giving children
a positive and fun thing to do.
To date over 5000
adolescents has participated in Youth Step Programs, such as the
Youth Step After School Program, Youth Step Mentoring Program,
Youth Step Step Show Tournament etc.
James Brock Harris III
has worked with children throughout the five boroughs for over
24 years. Brock Harris has serves as Borough Director over
seeing Kinship Foster operations on the behalf of the
Administration for Children services (ACS). Brock Harris has
used the skills learned at ACS to develop a very successful
youth initiative throughout the tri-state area.
